Beach Access: Drive 20 minutes to the Northshore beaches of Baldwin and Hookipa, Paia Bay, Tavares Bay, Mama's Cove and many other ocean access spots. Snorkeling, swimming, boogie boarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing and other water sports are located nearby! The balmy beach resort areas of Wailea, Kihei, Kaanapali and Kapalua are 30-60 minutes drive which makes for comfortable day excursions to all parts of the island. Exotic Hana is a fantastic day trip easily launched from the Haiku area.

Outdoor Spa: The Cottage has a wonderful redwood wine-cask shaped deep soaking hot tub with jets set in the garden with ocean views!

Approx. Interior Size: Approximately 1,000 square feet that is well-planned to maximize the lovely ocean and sunset views as well as to provide comfort and efficient use of the space.
Approx Lot Size: The Cottage resides on the lower portion of an expansive 8 acre property. The owner is building a new home far up above the Cottage and there are no views from the owner's residence towards the Cottage, nor can any other dwellings set off in the distance see directly towards the Cottage or its surrounding immediate exterior.

Fireplace: A fantastic Scandinavian design cylindrical wood-burning fireplace/stove is situated between the kitchen/dining area and the living room. You may rotate it to cool different parts of the great room which provides ample heating over cooler nights in winter season. Very cozy and romantic!

There is also a large campfire pit in the garden with a generous stack of aromatic kiawe wood provided for your use. Roast marshmellows, play guitar, or simply star gaze on Maui in a heavenly setting!
